Before joining Steinberg Advisors in 2009, Bill was a shareholder at another local CPA firm. At Steinberg Advisors, Bill heads up the Business Valuation Team in the firm's Business Consulting Group. He also provides tax planning, accounting and consulting services to a variety of clients. Expertise Because he has worked with hundreds of small businesses in a wide range of industries, Bill has a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of their owners. He excels in advising them about ways to increase profitability and achieve their business and personal financial goals. In addition to pointing out ways to improve day-to-day operations, Bill assists clients with growth strategies, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning and personal financial planning. He also performs valuations in connection with estate and gift tax planning, buy/sell agreements, and business acquisitions and sales. Also, he asks questions about the owner's goals, challenges and practices, and listens carefully to what clients say. He then draws on his knowledge and experience to help clients get from where they are to where they want to be.
